MAKING A VIDEO RECORDING OF A SCRIPT I can only grant permission for my scripts to be recorded. A license does not allow you to video record a show without the permission of all those taking part. In particular, no permission is given to video record copyright music. A license is issued on the basis that you can make copies of the master recording for the private retention of members of the society. The license does not grant permission for public screenings other than where no charge is made. Copies of the master recording cannot be sold to the general public. The license covers the video recording of the dress rehearsal and performances only. All other rehearsals may be recorded at no charge. The cost of a video recording license is £25. |
